I interviewed Mr. Luke Albertson, who is Mr. Brendon’s brother, on March 7, 2022.
He was a teacher, then runs an educational company now. It means he is familiar with education. That’s why we interviewed him because our research topic is education.
The educational issues in America
Firstly, we asked him what the educational issue is in the U.S. He said the quality of education is different from state to state. In other words, there is inequality between wealthy and poor states. As a result, schools in rich areas have a good quality of facilities and education. On the other hand, schools in poor areas don’t.
The impact of COVID
Children are forced to take classes online because of COVID. There is not enough technology in poor areas, especially in developing countries. Also, the lack of trained teachers is one of the problems. Fewer teachers are able to use the internet. In addition, they do not have proper common standards. Therefore, it’s very important to enforce compulsory education more firmly.
His story was very useful for me and my research. I could not get good information that what America is needed and the solution to educational issues because of COVID when I research on the internet. Therefore, I am very grateful to him.
