I volunteer at the Food Bank on March 10th. We make food boxes provided for people. I put stickers on the package there. As a result, we made 58 boxes. I’m happy to help many people with our work.
Food Bank is the largest hunger-relief organization in New England and among the largest food banks in the U.S. They distributed 117 million pounds of nutritious food to people who struggled to have enough to eat last year. They are committed to increasing our food distribution to provide three meals a day to every person in need in Eastern Massachusetts while supporting healthy lives and healthy communities. They also work to end hunger across Eastern Massachusetts by providing their neighbors in need with the healthy food and resources they need to thrive. Their action connect to not only “zero hunger” but also “No poverty,” “Sustainable cities and consumption,” and ” Good health and well-being.” They are supported by volunteering and donation. Thanks to them, they can change and save the life of the senior community and people who struggle to have enough to eat. My research topic is abuse for children and women. Abuse is sometimes caused by poverty. So, their actions are related to our research.
