British school’s presentation

Mirin Seki

On February 24, children from British School gave us a presentation on the topic of SDGs. It was close to the topic I am working on, so I went to see the group presenting on “Life below water”. They were talking so fast that I couldn’t understand everything they were saying, but I could tell that they had done a lot of research on the topic. They were mainly talking about pollution in the ocean. They were presenting the reality of ocean pollution, its causes, and proposed measures to deal with it, and they also mentioned a little about Japan. They talked about how bad substances from human-made products are flowing out into the ocean and polluting it. This is a little bit related to my topic of “water sanitation, clean water,” which is the idea that by letting these man-made bad substances flow into rivers and lakes, we are making the rivers and lakes a valuable source of water for drinking. I realized once again that the health of the people who drink the water from the rivers and lakes as a precious source of water is at stake.
