We interview Clement chou who works in a company a Japanese study abroad agent in Canada. He is Taiwanese who was born blind and raised in Canada.
1, Do you think the support for blind people is enough?
It depends on people. There is a lot of Braille in Japan, but the Japanese are indifferent to blind people. There is not much braille in Canada, but many people are concerned about others who need help and talk to them if they need help. Some people need help by brail and others need help from people. He said braille and people’s attitude is important to support.
What is important for blind people is the human mind.
2, What kind of support do you know about?
brail, audio guide, people who help the blind people,
3. Do you think support for the blend is more important than other kinds of disabilities?
The importance of support does not vary by disability. People tend to think of blind people as having more severe disabilities than others, but this is not true
Before I interview him, I’ve thought the support of blind people is good in Japan, but some people don’t need much support. Also, I realize that people’s attitude and mind is the most important thing. Indeed, Japanese people don’t talk to blind people. We should be more concerned about disabled people and I want to call out toese in need.
