I went to Cradles to Crayons and did volunteer. They are an organization that donates clothes to children. There are five other facilities of Cradles to Crayons in Boston. Because 33% of children in Massachusetts has a risk of clothing insecurity. I was so surprised.
We packed their clothes depends on the size and gender. We can’t pack some not good clothes like has stains, holes, or fray. So, we have to look at the clothes carefully. In addition, we can’t pack some clothes which has the words family or holiday. Like Christmas, mother, or father. Because children who receive clothes are so sensitive with these words. It was a volunteering that we had to concentrate on. However, it feels great! I wanna participate again.
