I interviewed Mr. Albertson.
I was surprised that providing clean water spends a large amount of money, 6.5 million dollars, in Connecticut. I think doing the same things in developing countries is not impossible. Thus, it is necessary to give them sanitation facilities and help them make clean water by themselves. In addition, I learned that in not order to increase water contamination, it is effective to use a low-flow showerhead. This showerhead is uncommon in Japan. However, Japanese people are likely to use much water because of customs. For instance, Japanese people leave the water running when we wash rice or fill the bus tub with hot water.
Moreover, he said that the most challenging thing is that he needs to give a presentation to people in the town government and universities. That is because he has to collect money from them in order to create clean water and educate the importance of clean water. I was impressed that people who work for the company related to clean water do provide not only clean water but also spread information.
