We had a group presentation in a class on Mar 11. My partners were Kaho Matsumura and Rio and we researched the quality education. Why I chose this class is I chose decent work at another class, and more, at that researching, i founf out that education is relevant to all goals of 16 topics. So, I picked up the topic of quality education and looked it up. In this class, it had picked up one topic from 16 goals every class also to find an article from the topic is our assignments. When I saw the article about education in Europe and Canada, I agree with those countries’ education system. Basically, we are needed to get education, especially quality education. However, through Japan and US, there are no systems for free education. I am suspicious of it though I know it will be tough to change the system. Although it will be common to have to get high quality education like at least going to university or college in the future, the real situation is very hard for some people. In Japan, many people are suffering from huge price of scholarships. After graduates school, still a lot of people cannot pay back. On the other hand, at the private college or university in US, it needs a lot of money such twice or three times as much as Japanese private school. They can get scholarships which is type of that you do not have to pay back from the organization. I think thet scolarship system is better than Japanese scolarships though it has the big economic gap currently. Through this presentation, all we can do is thinking about the definition of quality education and acting for the next generation. I f I were not take this class, I would not think about this serious problem deeply, thus it was quite precious class in my whole life.
