Sara came to Showa Boston and talked about her experiences on March 3rd, 2022.
She said her activities are to support children in order they can get courage and give opportunities to interact with leaders in the world as much as possible.
Also, she thinks each people have the things that are the most important for them and wan to prioritize, such as family, happiness, and creativity.
Therefore, I learned that when we try to solve some problems together, we have to think about what is the priority for other people. Then, it is essential to understand their ideas.
I asked her, “what should leaders do to improve citizens’ motivation to avoid water pollution?” The reason that I asked her this question is I think it is necessary to cooperate with citizens in order to improve water quality.
She answered that at first, she would try to ask why you do not care about water contamination because citizens may have no choice but to contaminate water to make a living for the family. After listening to their ideas, she will try to talk about people who suffer from some troubles such as diseases and get sympathy. If we can get sympathy with them, they will care and make a move to avoid water pollution.
