I went to Waterworks Museum on January 27th, 2022.

I learned about the history of water machines and engines. Once upon a time, there were no waterworks. The cities became more crowded, and the water became dirtier and dirtier as more and more people came to cities to get jobs. Then, the city changed shape. It got bigger and, bigger and more water was needed. In the 16 century, a little closer to the modern water system. A new system is the same size as the original one, but technology is becoming better. And now, the modern system is very small and has high performance.
Also, I learned about water pollution. All watershed will gather to the lake, but it gets dirty on the way there because of some reason. So, stuff showed me various ways to make the water clear. This field trip did not have a connection with my topic, but it was interesting.
