The root why I knew the word “fair trade”

On Feb 23, I went around Centre St. near Jamaica Plain. There have some small businesses and the only employee of the NPOs Ms. Brown told us some precious information. Anyway, I have visited around this street some times and saw these places. So, I would say that was amazing that I didn’t know they connect to SDGs directly. The most impressive part was that wall, says “Buy fresh buy local.” That uses so bright colors and catchy phrases. I found many fair-trade products, that change to cost for workers who work at a small business or minority industry. That is relevant to decent work or supportive about minimum wage issues. on the other hand, Ms. Brown said ” I cannot get enough money because this is NPOs, so I cannot hire many employees as well, unfortunately.” when I asked her what is the most difficult for her to start this business. She supports homeless people or people who work by minimum wages though actually, she is suffering from it and needs more help from the government, especially financial support. I wish I could get a job for those people in the future. By the way, I found the sticker of rapper, Drake. His recent album, has a song “fair trade”, honestly it is not related to SDGs however the title taught me the word ” fair trade” existed. And the rapper Drake was there in the small business community by someone sealed on it. That was kind of interesting.
