I went to eastie farm. As the name suggests, it is located in East Boston near the Boston Logan International Airport. The farm burst into the residential area. It was like an urban oasis.
The way how to grow up their products is so sustainable. First, they gather rainwater from the rooftop drain and use it. They are also using a system called compost. It is the way to reuse food waste into compost.
In addition, they hold some volunteer events. I couldn’t participate in that. But you can learn and experience sustainable farming. It’s time to warm up and grow vegetables. Please participate.
