Clean Water & Sanitation Mirin Seki

I went to the Metropolitan Waterworks Museum on January 26th. I learned a lot of things from this trip, and I was able to find Boston’s waterworks. I was especially surprised by how much water comes to the land as rain is polluted by humans and flows into the ocean, lakes, and ponds. And then, it is inevitable because the population is increasing rapidly. First, I realized that humans create too many artifacts. The museum’s employee showed us using a ground model and explained how dirty rainwater flows into the ocean and other places. The fact is that amount of concrete road is increasing, and the soil that rainwater should return to has decreased. But the inevitable truth is that we cannot stop the world’s growing population. I think the fact will not change, so we have to think about how we should prevent dirty water from flowing into our ocean and lakes and take measures to avoid it.
